Walk in campground at the bottom of the Grose Valley, near the Blue Gum Forest
This is a stunning location, but quite a difficult walk to get in. I have only ever done this as a 1 day walk, but wished I had brought the camping gear and stayed a bit longer, a day or two at least.
The walk in is not too bad, but the walk back out is a challenge unless you have a reasonable level of fitness.
You can usually get water from the river, which you should treat before drinking.

I've never stayed at this site, only walked through it, but it's absolutely stunning, and quite large. Please note that the site is a *very* steep walk from Perry's Lookdown, at least 2 hours each way. There are toilets on site (didn't use them to see what they were like), and the site is quite large. There is a beautiful creek/river with crystal clear water in it, great for swimming.
