A campground near to the northern trailhead of the Old Great North Road trail in Yengo National Park.

A shelter with fireplace is provided, and the ground is in good condition for tents, including a few small non-gum trees to use for shade.

As already mentioned, the Convict-build Great North Road is in the area, and the Circuit Flat Bridge is an easy bushwalk to get too. And you should feel inadequate when some Bushwalkers arrive at the campsite after hiking in all the way over the old road from Wisemans Ferry...

Contact NPWS Gosford Office (camping enquiries 0243204203 ) during office hours. Bookings are not essential at off-peak times. Payment can be made at the campsite.

Location information for Mogo Creek

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

2WD-recommend route - after reaching the Bucketty locality, follow Settlers Road for approx 10 kilometres.

Via St Albans: cross the river on the free road ferry, then turn left to a 30 kilometre, twisty, hilly, and slow unsurfaced road.

It's also possible to walk or MTB along the original OGNR path from Wisemans Ferry, alternatively from South Mangrove.
