Boat or walk in (10km) campground on the Hawkesbury River
The campground is open and level but still with plenty of shade. There are pit toilets and a couple of wood barbeques/firepits. Sites are not marked (probably about enough room for 10 camps...
There is a small jetty which makes it easy to access this site by medium sized boats, although I kayaked in here. You can also walk in (about 10km) along Canoelands Ridge walking trail.
The campsite is on a wide long bend in the river, across from Mangrove Creek and there is some excellent fishing to be had here on the other side in the creek entrance.
Great family campsite for the more adventurous, the kids will love the fact you have to get there by boat (they might not be so happy if you make them walk in though).
