4wd access only campground, alongside retreat river.
This campground offers some wonderful bushwalking, birdwatching, mountain biking trails and swimming holes.
There are platypus in the water holes, best way to get to see them is to sit very quietly on the banks at dawn or dusk. They are very shy, so it usually takes a while before they start to go about there business. Plenty of wallabies , birds and even emus here.
Great spot for a family camping trip if you want to see some wildlife and have a 4wd.
