Small attractive campground, suitable for tent based camping (carpark has bollards).

This is an attractive campground, with plenty of shade and four grassy sites. It is usually pretty quiet as camper trailers and caravans can't use it.

There are pit toilets and fire rings (bring your own firewood).

A short walk (300 metres) leads to an Aboriginally significant site (Finchley Aboriginal Area) which has ancient aboriginal rock engravings.

Finchley Trig offers excellent views and is also well worth the walk.

Apparently this is also a good site for amateur astronomers as there is very little light pollution. The stars definitely are spectacular here on a clear night, so assume it is true.
