Basic, free camping, a short stroll from the shore of Chifley Dam.
There are only 4 sites here (suitable for caravans/campervans). Each site can have more than one tent though, with a maximum of 12 people per site.
There is good quality drinking water available on tap in the caping area, and rubbish bins are also provided. It is a short walk to the flushing toilets, picnic shelters, barbecues and the dam itself. A little further away, there is also a kids playground.

There is a 3 day maximum stay and no bookings for a site.

There is no charge for camping at Chifley Dam for a maximum of 3 nights.
This is a free camping area.
There are no bookings required. As there are only 4 sites, it may pay to have a back up plan in case tall sites are occupied.
The dam gates are closed at night (6pm winter and 9pm summr) so make sure you arrive during daylight hours. Gates reopen at around 8am
