Walk in only campground in Heathcote National Park with drop toilets, with a one night only stay allowed.
You can access the walk to the campground from Heathcote Train Station, making it one of the few places you can use public transport to get to a campground.
There is a very pretty little pool in the river that is suitable for swimming with rock ledges and a little waterfall.
No fires are permitted in the campground, so you will need to bring your own fuel stove to cook your dinner (or eat it cold). You will also need to bring your own drinking water and take your rubbish out with you.
