Free Camping on the Abercrombie River near the bridge with lots of room along the river.

This is a free, council run, campground, with basic toilet facilities.

There is a choice of plenty of shady sites (under the casuarinas) or ones with a bit of sun to charge the solar.

The river is cool and deep and great for a swim.

A couple of good spots to access the river for launching a kayak or a canoe, and I am guessing there are some fish in there too?
