Large Camp area on the banks of the Herbert River in Girringun National Park.

There are large sites suitable for bigger groups as well as smaller more secluded sites ont he edge of the creek.

Composting toilets and some picnic tables around the campground.

Water is available from the creek but should be treated before use.

Camp Fires are permitted when there are no fire bans in place. You must bring your own fire wood as collecting firewood in National Parks is not permitted.

Bring your own toilet paper as none is provided by National Parks.

Access

4wd only access.

Getting there

This is a 4wd vehicle access only road, it takes approximately 2.5hrs to 3hrs depending on road conditions to reach the camping area from Kennedy. The walking track to the falls is signposted from the Blencoe Creek Bridge. It is 5km by road from the bridge to the falls.
