Alternative to Merringtons Flat Campground, closer to the river.
Exiting the Walhalla - Aberfeldy rd at Merringtons track, Follow all the way down the track. As you get to Merringtons Flat campgrounds, Turn left to continue along merringtons. (There is a large campground at Merringtons but there is a distance to the river. Lots of fire pits.)
When arriving at "The Hut" if no-one else is in there it's a good place to set-up BUT you need to cart water from the river up the hill.
Below the hut there are some campgrounds with firepits etc along the river.
