A level, well treed reserve just above the rushing upper Goulburn River, very good shade from Southern Blue Gums and Peppermint.

Most sites level. A bit rough and informal, there are many vehicle tracks suggesting site can be boggy. Overlooked by road.

Surrounded by steep forested slopes. River diverted to permit mining in the large U bend 0.7k downstream.
