A reasonably pleasant hill side clearing surrounded and shaded by Peppermint, Candlebark, Blue Gum and Stringybark forest with an understory of scrub near the Delatite River and Plain Creek.

Most sites slope, a bit scruffy. Secluded from roads by scrub. Reasonable sort term camp.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

From Mansfield: East 28.5k on the Mount Buller Rd [C320] just through Sawmill Settlement, left (north) on Carters Rd (gravel) over the Delatite Rv 300 metres through the day visitor area, cross Plain Cr, signed access track on right.
