A pleasant alpine bush camp. Extended level, well drained river flat along the rushing Moroka River.

Open woodland of Snow and Mountain Gums over short alpine grass (and wildflowers) with an understory of saplings and tea tree along the river.

Wombats and wandering cattle are common. Short access track into the site is rocky and twisty.

Getting there

from Licola: North east 46k (27k gravel) on the Tamboritha Rd to Arbuckle Junction, right (east) 25.5k on the Moroka Rd, left just before the bridge, 50m on a rough rocky track to river flats.
