The reserve extends on both sides of the Blue Vale Road and is a designated Travelling Stock Reserve.
Locals go here to fish (yellow belly, catfish, carp, shrimp, and swim (not many good spots).
Several thousand could camp here: mostly it's dry grazing land with River White Gums but there are a few grassy area by the river. It will rarely flood as the water is controlled flow from Lake Keepit.
There are no facilities except river water which can be boiled. Motor Bikes are banned but the concern is the trail bikes churning up the paddock
Good bush camping in my view.
