Lucky Flat Campground

Lucky Flat has water available Lucky Flat has picnic fireplaces There are bbqs available at Lucky Flat

A small bush campsite, next to a dam, with no facilities.

The campground is just off the road, but I wouldn't worry too much about traffic noise out here. You won't see many cars.

You will need to bring your own water and take all your rubbish out with you.

Last time I was here, there were a couple of wooden benches and a fire bucket/wood bbq but they looked like they were being reclaimed by the forest.

The site would suit camper trailers, tents or campervans. Plenty of shady or sunny options depending on your preference.

Make sure you are careful with your fire out here (and obey all fire restrictions). After a dry spell, it would be all too easy to accidentally start a bush fire. Extinguish fires thoroughly with water when finished with them.

The access in here is good quality dirt road (old forest roads) so should be fine in a 2wd vehicle provided there hasn't been a lot of rain.
