Bush camping on private property with native bush and open space, just south of Stanthorpe.
Camp in paddocks in a peaceful and scenic location nestled near a ridge of granite rocks and surrounded by native bush and orchards. The property is perfectly suited to couples and families.
There is lots of open space to explore and kangaroos will graze close to you most mornings. There is a small dam on the property so please take care with small children.
The location lends itself to bush walks and taking in the beautiful local scenery. The road access is a bitumen road and the house is only 5 minutes drive into Stanthorpe.
There is quite a lot of wildlife in this area, so please drive with car. You will see lots of kangaroos and wallabies, but there are also echidna, wombats and koalas around.
There is a very good tourist office in town. The art gallery and museum are also worth a visit as is law dogs, the amiens heritage centre and the Wallangarra Railway Station. There are 3 nearby National Parks and several nature reserves. and there are lots of wineries and 2 craft breweries. The Blue Topaz service station at Svernlea has great retro meals and is on the way to Brass Monkey Brewery and Ridgemill Estate wines… visit : granitebeltwinecountry.com.au
