Bush setting, a fossicking creek and caravan accessible.
The campground is level and shady with picnic tables and built fireplaces. There are long drop toilets and tank water (bring your own just in case).
The Ugly Corner Falls Walking track starts from here, this is a fairly easy 6km return walk that follows the creek and to an attractive little waterfall.
Fossicking in the creek is great fun for the family and apparently you can get topaz, beryl and quartz. All I could find was quartz, but it was still fun.
Fireplaces are provided, you will need to take your won firewood as collection in the National Park is prohibited. Also make sure you observe fire bans.
They also advise that, as this area has been mined in the past, there may be mine shafts, so take care when exploring as they can sometimes be difficult to spot.
