Commercial park on the edge of Coolmunda Dam, with powered, un-powered sites and cabins.
The park is undergoing a renevation with new cabins and upgraded facilities.
There is a boat ramp, hot showers, flushing toilets and picnic areas with barbecues. A good sized swimming pool helps you cool off if the dam water is too scary.
The camping area is fairly open with undefined sites, and not a lot of shade. Can get a bit windy on the edge of the dam.
Kiosk supplies all the basics, however the roadhouse is only a couple of minutes away back on the highway
This is a stocked dam (with murray cod, silver perch and golden perch) so a permit is required to fish here.
The caravan park is also pet friendly provided animals are well behaved.
