Tent only campground by small rainforest creek in Washpool National Park

This is a good alternative to the nearby Bellbird campground, if you are tent based, as it is usually quieter.

The camping area is level, grassy and surrounded by rainforest. There are no marked sites.

There are picnic tables, fire pits (bring your own wood) and long drop toilets.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Access is over good quality, dirt.

Take the Gwydir Highway from Glen Innes or Grafton

Take the Coachwood Drive turnoff and follow to Coombadjha campground
