Paradise Dam

Commercial campground on the banks of Paradise Dam.

Calliope River Rest Area

A very large reasonably level, and grassy camping area right on the Calliope River.

Clairview Beach Holiday Park

Commercial Caravan Park, right on the water (much better alternative than camping on the side of the road in the rest area up the street).

Smalleys Beach

Campground right on the edge of the ocean in Cape Hillsborough National Park

Elliot River

Very popular, privately run camping area (with no facilities)

Babinda Boulders

An attractive, well grassed and shady campground right near the popular boulders swimming hole.

Jourama Falls

This is a spectacular campground near the scenic Jourama Falls, about 90 km north of Townsville.

Alligator Creek

Set amongst native bush, and alongside Alligator Creek, this is a beautiful campground suitable for tent based camping.

Kinkuna

4WD only access campground in Burrum Coast National Park.

School Point

A very well appointed campground with only 8 sites with views of Lake Tinaroo

Ocean Beach

64 campsites over a couple of kilmetres along the beach in Bribie Island Recreation Reserve.
