Very popular, privately run camping area (with no facilities)

The camping area is right on the Elliot River, where it empties into the Coral Sea.

Midgies can be an issue at certain times.

Location information for Elliot River

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Turn north off the Bruce Highway, about 100m east of the bridge over the Elliot River. Follow the good quality dirt road for about 6km. A donation box is on the gate.
