Dingo Creek
A very picturesque green site in a forested gully, on small level grassed (short) flats on both sides of the bubbling Dingo Creek near its junction with the Agnes River.
Reeves Beach - 90 Mile Beach
A relatively pleasant, extended, level gully between dunes, grassed (short) with some shade from Manna Gum and banksia, surrounded by bush covered dunes which provide protection from winds.
White Womans Waterhole
A pleasant, grassed (slashed), gently sloping picnic ground, shaded by Yellow Stringybark and white trunked Mountain Grey Gums by a swampy water hole surrounded by wattle and green bush.
Rosedale
Free camping area in Holey Plains State Park, with great views.
Nash Creek
A small grassed clearing in a gully by little Nash Creek, well shaded by Manna Gum, Peppermint, Stringybark and Blackwood with Tea-tree scrub and tree-fern understory.
Walhalla North Gardens
Temporarily Closed - Campground in the historic town of Walhalla, suitable for caravans.
Toorongo Falls
Situated at the head of an attractive, narrow valley are three grassed clearings by the bubbling Torongo River and surrounded by lush wet sclerophyll forest.
Aberfeldy Bridge
Very pleasant, quiet, grassy (slashed) river flat with limited shade from a few white trunked Mountain Grey Gums.
The Poplars
An extended grassy flat along the Lock River, surrounded by forested hills, adjacent to a little used forestry road.
Macalister River
An extended, open, level, well grassed (slashed) reserve along the Macalister River.
Frenchmans Creek
One of the larger campsites in this state forest, right on the Big River.
Checking Station
Formerly Icy Creek. A quiet, green bush camp with composting toilets in a small clearing in dense montane forest near the junctions of Bennet and Carter Creeks with Icy Creek.
Camp 22 (Haymans)
Hillside forested clearing extending down to the western bank of the small Lock River.
Coopers Creek
Two forested camps by a picturesque mining ghost town near a broad mountain river, surrounded by steep forested slopes.
Thomson Bridge
A small clearing perched on a steep mountain slope above the Thompson River surrounded and well shaded by lush sclerophyll forest.
Dermody Camp
A quiet camp in dry sclerophyll forest. Situated on the nose of a broad, level ridge 50m above the Avon River.
Wombat Crossing B
A pleasant, small, riverside camp well shaded by white trunked Gippsland Red Gums with wattle and tea tree understory.
Gunyah Hotel Site
A very pleasant ridge top bush camp. A level, green grassed (slashed) clearing surrounded by dense wet sclerophll montane forest.
Traralgon Cr 1 (Koornalla)
A relatively large, open clearing on raised river flats above a loop in the Traralgon Creek, lush grass, shaded by a row of old pines.
Traralgon Cr 6 (Le Roy School)
A pleasant, small, short grassed, gently sloping clearing on a ridge nose above the road and the small Traralgon Creek.
Bulga Quarry
Bush camping in wet sclerophyll forest not far from the Bulga National Park.
Primrose Park- Morwell River (Camp 1)
Level River Flat, little shade. 1st of 4 of the Morwell River Campgrounds.
Apex Park - Morwell River (Camp 2)
Sloping river flat, afternoon shade. 2nd of 4 of the Morwell River Campgrounds.
Morwell River (Camp 3)
Small grassed U bend in bubbling creek. 3rd of 4 Morwell River Campgrounds.
Morwell River (Camp 4)
Small grassed creek side flat. 4th of 4 Morwell River Campgrounds.
Beenak School Site
A small, green, ridge top grassed clearing shaded by a few large pines backed by lush green wet sclerophyll forest.
Junction Track Hut
Alternative to Merringtons Flat Campground, closer to the river.
