Riverside site by the wide and deep lower Glenelg River.

A grassed clearing with 3 sites close to each other, shaded by mature pines and Yellow Gums. Only 1 site level.

Plentiful bird life. Backed by Brown Stringybark forest, tea tree, dense bush and wildflowers.

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Situated on the northern bank of the lower Glenelg River, south-west of Dartmoor, south-east of Mt Gambier.

Access from Dartmoor [A1]: South-west 12.3k on Wanwin Rd (11k sealed), bear left (south) 2.2k on Wanwin Rd (limestone gravel), right (nor-east) 9k on Wannwin Rd, left (south) 1.9k through pine plantation to the river.
