Bush camping on the banks of the Dumaresq River (QLD-NSW Border).

The camping area stretches along the banks of the river and there is plenty of shady or sunny spots depending on your preference. The best camping is down by the river, but if you have a van, you may need to camp on the more level ground as you first get to the bush.

There are no facilities available, and you will need to bring your own firewood, water and be self contained.

Nice spot for fishing and relaxing. Yellow belly and cod are the usual target species. Take note that Murray Cod are not allowed to be taken between 1 September and 30 November to allow recovery. As this river forms the border of QLD and NSW it is recommended that you have a NSW fishing licence, even if fishing from the QLD bank.
