Walk in campground and hut on the Breadknife and Grand High Tops Walk.
The hut itself has 4 double bunks and a key must be obtained when booking it. Tent camping is near the hut on level grassy sites.
The hut is pretty basic (basically a tin shed built around 1960), but will save you carrying a tent for the 6km walk in. It has a wood stove and there is also a fireplace outside.
You will need to bring your own firewood as collection in the park is prohibited (not sure how you do that when you would have to carry it all in 6km).
There is tank water which should be treated before use.

Bookings can be made over the phone or internet.
Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Centre on (02) 6825 4364. Please collect the hut key from the visitor centre.
