An open grassy flat area beside the Gwydir river just 2.8 km off the Gwydir highway with a fireplace and toilet and river bank fishing.

Nearby is a sandy river beach with a gas BBQ, is a leisurely 500 mt walk or drive upstream.

Standard vehicle access easy, may be difficult in wet weather.

Very quite location with a low level of use.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

Take the Gwydir Highway from Moree towards Warialda for approx. 25 Km Take the Gum Flat Road on the Left heading north for 2.8 Km. Campsite beside the river.
