Camp alongside the Gloucester river in this spacious campground. This is one of the more popular campsites in this park due to large grassy areas and easy access for caravans/camper trailers.

Even though it can be busy, there is still plenty of wildlife to spot, including lyrebirds, brush turkeys and rednecked pademelons.

At dawn and dusk, sit quietly by the river and you may even spot a platypus. Listen out for the Lyrebirds, they are known to be excellent mimics. You might think you are hearing other campers when in fact it is the lyrebirds!!

This is a very accessible campground with room for caravans and wheel chair access to toilets.

Walking Tracks

Sharpes Creek Walking Track

Approximately 4.5km loop walk through rainforest, open woodland with plenty of creek crossings.

Gloucester River Walking Track

An easy 2.5km walk through paper bark and blue gums alongside the Gloucester River. As you wade across the Gloucester river, keep your eye out for long necked turtles poking their heads up nearby.
