This is the first campground you come to when entering the Inskip Peninsula
The campsites here are very sandy, roof top tent users will be fine, but if you are in a ground tent, make sure you bring the sand pegs.
There are no facilities (no toilets either) at this campground.
Camping permits must be obtained prior to heading out to The Oaks Campground. There is no vehicle entry fee for this area though. Use the link below to find out the current rates.

Within a short drive of Rainbow Beach, Inskip Peninsula forms a natural breakwater for Tin Can Bay.
4wd only access.
This is a 4wd only access camp ground and the track in can be quite soft with deep ruts.
