Predominately made up of grassy woodlands of box and ironbark, this is a great park for exploring and camping.
There are a number of walking trails and campsites throughout the park.
I am told that the wildflowers are spectacular in spring although I haven't been here at that time of year.
Horse riding is allowed in this park (with restrictions, and some of the trails are great for that (or mountain biking).
This park is well known for its abundance of honeyeaters and Swift Parrot There is a great write up on birds (and other fauna) as well as plants that can be seen at Greater Bendigo National Park here.
