Free camping, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes on the banks of Bundoora dam.
No shops close by so if you are planning on staying a while stock up on everything.
Plenty of flat spots to park by the waters edge. Shady spots further from the water (generally not so level).
Pets allowed.
Bring your own drinking water.
This dam is a popular spot in warm weather and can get quite busy, however there is plenty of room.
Great spot for water sports. There is good fishing (especially for redclaw cray fish) and easy access for launching a kayak. A good quality gravel boat ramp is also provided for power boats.
There are also sheltered picnic tables and toilets.

Bundoora Dam is a free campground.
This is a free camping area.
There are no bookings required to camp here. It can get a bit busy in the peak seasons, however there is plenty of space around the dam so you should always be able to find a spot.
