Free, popular campground on the edge of Bedford Weir
This campground has excellent facilites, including a boat ramp, picnic tables (undercover), flushing toilets, hot showers and dump point.
It is a popular fishing destination, with the main targets being Barramundi and Saratoga, although I am told there are also big redclaw here. Catfish and Yellow Bellies are also regularly caught here.
The camping sites are grassed and fairly level and some have a bit of shade from mature eucalypts. Most spots have a good view of the water and covered picnic tables are provided.
There is a caretaker on site, who you will need to report to on arrival.
Pets are allowed provided they are kept on a lead at all times.
