Family owned and run bush camp set on 108 acres of natural bushland

Regularly visited by families of kangaroos, wallabies & an abundance of birdlife. They are 6 mins from the beach & 4 mins from the boat ramp (via car). Terrain is flat and caters to all types of campers from tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes/vans, buses. The camp spots range from open grassed spaces to shady secluded areas.

They have an amenities block, with flushing toilets. The property has minimal powered sites.

The property is a great place for a base camp to explore the region as there are plenty of activities to do, such as:

• Fishing, crabbing and prawning in the local waterways;

• Visiting Deepwater National Park - various day use areas; 

• Turtle watching (nesting and hatching between November and March);

• Beach 4WD tracks;

• Beachcombing;

• Bush walking tracks;

• Bird watching;

• Playing a round of golf.

Campfires are permitted in designated areas with firewood supplied at no extra cost.

Generators and pets are welcome

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Rules Beach Bush Camp is 101kms from Bundaberg, make your way onto Lowmead / Rosedale Road for 54kms then turn right onto Tableland Road and travel for 2.8kms then turn right onto Hills Road, continue for 17kms, you will go over a one-way bridge, after this bridge turn right onto Coast Road, travel for 14kms then turn left onto Lindy Drive (unsealed road), the property is approximately 800m on the right.

If you are travelling from Gladstone (132kms), make your way onto Bruce Highway for 48kms, turn left onto Larson Street (Miriam Vale) which turns into Fingerboard Road and travel for 25kms, turn right onto Tableland Road and travel for 10kms then turn left onto Cross Road and travel for 3.9kms until you come to Webster Road turn left, travel another 1.4kms and turn right onto Taunton Road, then 3.7kms turn left onto Hills Road, continue for 1.4kms, you will go over a one-way bridge, after this bridge turn right onto Coast Road, travel for 14kms then turn left onto Lindy Drive (unsealed road), the property is approximately 800m on the right.
