Pub about halfway between Hughenden and Winton on East side and next to Kennedy Developmental Road.
Free, but smallish campground - get there early!. Little shade until late afternoon.
Nothing else in "Town" except Pub and residence, a Sports Club with tennis court, and demountable buildings, a public telephone box.
Pub not open Thursday night when we were there.
Smallish camp site next to the Pub for Vans, campers and small grassed area for tents. Modern, clean and well stocked hybrid unisex toilets at entry to campground with disabled ramp access. Honesty box at rear of campsite; proceeds to RFDS.
Behind the Pub there are more M/F toilets; plus hot M/F showers for $2.00 donation; has rubbish bins, picnic tables. Non-potable water on tap. Read notice on taps! Occasional traffic, including Road Trains.
