A 24hour maximum, free campground in the Sharon Gorge Nature Park, about 10km west from Bundaberg.
Granite Creek
48 hour rest area, suitable for a quick overnighter.
Calliope River Rest Area
A very large reasonably level, and grassy camping area right on the Calliope River.
Dululu
A great little free campground in Dululu (on the Burnett Highway) with free electric barbecues, showers and flushing toilets.
Duaringa Rest Area
Large, flat campground near town with plenty of room for a caravan, OK for an overnight on the way through.
Emerald Botanic Gardens
Free camping under the bridge near the Botanical Gardens
Riverside Park
Free campground on the edge of the Thompson River near Longreach
Higher Ground
Basic camping area on private property suitable for caravans or tent based camping
Lake Monduran Holiday Park
Commercial campground on the banks of Lake Monduran (Fred Haigh Dam).
Colonial Village Cabins
Commercial caravan park with powered and unpowered sites close to the beach
GUM TREE LODGE AND BUSH CAMP
Set on 4 acres, the sites, many powered, are scattered among the gum trees.
