Cox Scrub Conservation Park

About Cox Scrub Conservation Park

Cox Scrub Conservation Park is a haven for bushwalkers and birdwatchers.

The park's open scrub and tall shrubland provides habitat for a range of birdlife, including honeyeaters and yellow-tailed black-cockatoos.

There are many walking trails providing great opportunities to enjoy the scenery and see wildlife among the low wooded hills. Visit in spring when you can see the park's glorious native wildflowers in abundance. You can also see changes in the vegetation resulting from a series of fires in recent years.

Stop for a picnic or rest under the shade at Coles Crossing on the Finniss River which offers designated sites to camp overnight.
