Shady, grassy campground with excellent facilities near a beautiful waterhole under the falls.
This campground has been upgraded a lot since I first visited this area. There are showers, washing machines, plenty of shade and large grassy sites.
Fire rings are provided (bring your own wood).
Areas are set for camper trailer sites on level gravel and the sheltered picnic tables are most welcome.
Although it is tempting to spen the whole time swimming in the pool under the falls, make the time to do some of the walking tracks. jut remember to bring and drink plenty of water as it gets pretty hot here. Fortunately, although it is hot, there are plenty of other swimming holes further upstream to cool you off. The fact sheet (download here) has more information on the surrounding park and walking trails.
