Informal Camping area on the banks of the Gregory River, near Gregory Downs

This is a popular spot for the grey nomands and can get quite busy at times. There have recently been attempts to prevent camping here, so it might be worth checking to see if they have been successful.

Being an informal spot, there are no facilities however it really is a beautiful spot and you are bound to meet some new people.

Being on the river bed, it could be subject to flooding quite easily, so be careful, especially in the rainy season.
