Popular, free campground suitable for caravans and motor-homes.
This is a large, level campground near the base of a large rocky hill (Virgin Rock). The rock is illuminated at night and makes for quite a spectacle.
The campground is well maintained with large level and grassy sites, but not a huge amount of shade. This is not a spot to stop if you want seclusion as it gets very busy at times and can be a bit annoying with the sound of others generators.
It is only a couple of km out of Springsure where there are basic supplies.
