This is a large shady campground on the banks of Oakey Creek, suitable for caravans, and right on the creek for fishing, swimming and kayaking.
The camping area is wide and flat with the odd tree for shade. There is some basic play equipment to keep the kids amused.
Fishing - Boating
The creek here is pretty narrow, but deep enough for a small tinny and there is a boat ramp suitable for launching small craft. The word is you can get a few Yellow Belly downstream, and it looks promising for Cod.
