A free bush camp adjacent to the northern trailhead of the Heysen hiking trail.
Pets: no known restrictions, however there are adjoining private properties where loose animals could tresspass.
Water Availability: Non-potable water may be available from a tank at a nearby information shelter. Intermittent creek water availability. Boil all water for at least 10 minutes before drinking.
Camp fires: no built fire places. Open fires are forbidden in South Australia between November and April, and during extreme fire bans.
Picnic Tables: at the nearby information shelter
Enironmental concerns: Wheel Cactus is prevelent in the area, and efforts to eradicate it are ongoing. The collected pest plants must be burnt to ashes in a campfire if collected-- the seeds remain viable for 20 years.
