Rest area at the base of a fascinating geological formation (Pildappa Rock)
The rock is an outcropping of granite, similar in appearance to Wave Rock, and has the characteristic wave pattern, formed by erosion over 1500 million years.
Views from the top of the rock are outstanding, if you are happy to climb a little. There is also a walking trap that circumnavigates the base of the rock and affords interesting views (and photography opportunities).
There are toilets, a sheltered picnic table and gas barbecues.
