Free camping on the edge of the lake with basic facilities

Note that there is no camping in the Lions Park (where there are toilets and rubbish bins). The free camping area is about 100m past the Lions Park and alongside the lake.

It is right on the edge of town, so is not an idealic bush camping spot, but very handy for an overnighter and with the lake to add some ambiance.

The area is fairly open, level and mostly grass with plenty of turning room for caravans/motorhomes.
