Dispersed riverside bush camping upstream from Wemen.

Sandy river banks, few beaches. Shade from a row of Red River Red Gums backed by Black Box and mallee scrub. Numerous level sites, most grassed. Prolific bird life.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

From Robinvale: south 13k on the Sea Lake Rd [C251], right (south-west)15k on the Hatta-Robinvale Rd (C252), right at the river 100m to forest gate. Tracks follow the river upstream about 5k trough Pound Bend
