The campground is densely covered with Peppermint trees and so all campsites are very cool and shady. There are toilet and shower blocks, however the showers are solar heated and so will be cold until the water is heated by the sun during the day. The Bibbulman Track runs through the campground.
Parry Beach is a short walk from the campground where you can go swimming, snorkelling, fishing and there is 4WD access along the beach. The beach is not patrolled or monitored by life guards.
Flies can be a nuisance and March Flies which will bite are common, be prepared and bring appropriate repellent.
Wheelbarrows of firewood are available from the caretakers, check beforehand if fires are permitted. Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on leash. There are picnic tables and BBQs just outside the front gate of the campground.
