Free beach camping on the Yorke Penninsula, with no facilities.
There are two campsites here, either side of the end of the track. They are in the low sand dunes on the edge of the beach and have nothing larger than a small bush, so there is no shade or protection from the wind.
There are no taps, bins or toilets so you will need to be totally self contained.
Caravans would be OK if you took it easy, however the sites aren't really suited. This is probably a better spot for tent or camper trailers. As with most of the camping along here, there is no real grass, so sand and rock base for the tent. Sand pegs would be handy.
Pets are allowed, but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed outside of Fire Danger Season. Bring own wood.
Please check the Yorke Peninsula Council website and CFS website for current restrictions.
