Great outback campground alongside a curious rock formation and in an aboriginal elders Dreaming Site.
This is a great option for a couple of nights near Tennant Creek. I always avoid staying in Tennant Creek itself and this spot is quiet and interesting to wander around. The rock formations are a bit like a small version of the Devils Marbles and makes for a great photography study.
The local indigenous people (Warumungu) legend is that they are the fossilised eggs of the rainbow serpent, and they are a sacred womens dreaming site.
There are long drop toilets.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
The road is signed off to the west about 12km north from Tennant Creek (between the threeways intersection and Tennant Creek). There is about 6km of pretty good gravel road, looks suitable for caravans if you take care.
