Beachside camping in Mimosa Rocks National park, suitable for caravans.
This is a large and popular campground with good amenities. The camping area is mainly level and grassy and wood fired babrecues are provided (bring your own firewood). There are no defined sites. There are also picnic tables, and long drop toilets.
The picnic area also has good quality (free) gas barbecues which you can use and are great for cooking all the fish you just caught.
The beach is just past the low coastal scrub via a short track.

No bookings required for this campground. It can get pretty busy during peak times, however there are 70 sites, so usually will get a spot.

Gillards campground is in the southern part of Mimosa Rocks National Park. To get there turn off the Tathra-Bermagui road onto Gillards Road, about 5km south of Tanja and 9km north of Tathra.
