Located by the eastern mouth of the Snowy River (opposite Marlo) behind large sand dunes (which provide good wind protection).

24 Designated sites on level grassed sand (gravelled tracks) are well shaded by large Tea-tree and banksia. Recent plantings of shrubs is improving privacy between sites, many of which are in close proximity to each other.

Pelicans, ducks, wrens and bush flies abound. Good views across the estuary to Marlo and mountains.

Boat ramps and jetties. Original boat slip over 100 years old.

Popular (crowded) in peak periods and fishing boat motors may disturb, otherwise a very attractive waterside camp. Tank water, jetty.

Rated 4.2/5

Surf fishing is very popular. The most common fish caught are Salmon, Tailor and Gummy Shark. A concrete boat ramp is located at the slips, providing access to the Snowy River estuary.
