Brisbane to Sydney Coastal Camping
From SYDNEY, NSW, 1001 - To BRISBANE, QLD, 4000

Created by GreenNomad - Jan 2014

The busy section of the trip. Up the coast from Sydney to Brisbane, aiming to do some beach fishing too.

Campsites in this Trip plan

Boorkoom

Camp right on the edge of the coast near a rocky outcrop and direct access to some of the most un-spoilt beaches in NSW.

Violet Hill

This is a popular site for boaters as it has its own boat ramp, and temporary mooring points.

Korsmans Landing

My favourite campground in Myall Lakes National Park for a family trip. There is direct access to shallow (brackish water) for swimming, a boat ramp (gravel) and a small jetty.

Diamond Head

One of the largest and busiest campgrounds in Crowdy Bay National Park (with good reason).

The Basin

The only campground in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, this is a magic spot with a sandy beach.

Smoky Cape

Well treed campground, right near the beach. Suitable for caravans.

Melaleuca

Very large campground near the beach in Limeburners National Park

Black Rocks

Large grassy campground behind the dunes in Bundjalung National Park

The Ruins
