About Croajingolong National Park

Largely undeveloped, the Park features rocky points, tall sand dunes, estuaries, coastal forests, grass tree plains and extensive heathlands.

Much of the flora and fauna is found nowhere else in Victoria, reflecting the close relationship with the east coast.

Much of the Park can only be reached by boat or walking. There are 5 vehicle accessible camping areas within the Park. All are popular, bookings are recommended and essential for holidays (ballots for Christmas and Easter). Three (Peach Tree, Thurra River and Mueller River) are accessed from Cann River, one (Wingan Inlet) from near the Alfred National Park and one (Shipwreck Creek) via Mallacoota. Access roads may be rough, especially after rain.
